International Youth Leadership Experience Opportunity

This August, GlobalJax will be hosting the U.S. Department of State-funded Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program for two weeks. This group consists of eleven Iraqi youth that demonstrate leadership and community engagement in their country.

They will be visiting Jacksonville to experience American culture, extend their comfort zone, learn peace building techniques, interact with local youth, develop their leadership skills, etc.

As a part of the program, GlobalJax is seeking out local young leaders to participate in a cohort that will be a source of friendship and connection for the Iraqi youth throughout their stay in Jacksonville. Participants will receive recognition and service hours.
