High School Internships
The High School Internship Program is designed for students looking for office experience and exploring careers in nonprofit administration, diplomacy, international education and international business. Primary duties include coordinating with staff and international business leaders to provide outstanding international education programs for area students. Depending on their backgrounds, skills, and interests, interns may also work alongside the GlobalJax staff and board of directors on special projects, programming for international visitors, fundraising as well as social media.

Qualifications (applicants should have most of the following qualifications):
Ability to work well in groups
Passion for creative thinking and strategy
Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills
Interest citizen diplomacy, public diplomacy, international education and exchange
Maturity and a sense of humor
Details:
Start and end dates are flexible and based on the student's academic calendar
Hours and days can be negotiated, but a regular schedule is preferred
This is an unpaid position and intended for high school age students from both public and private schools
Both U.S. and non-U.S. citizens are welcome to apply
