China is a culturally rich country whose ancient arts and artifacts have been stored in a mainly private and restricted manner. Recentely, however, China has opened over 400 public and private museums to not only showcase their elaborate history and culture, but also to promote the economy . The government now offers incentives and tax breaks to those interested in starting a private museum, as many historical items lie in the hands of collectors . China is fairly new to museums; their booming presence has caused an increase demand in management and other skills to run a successful museum that'll thrive in the generations to come. In May 2015, China held a museum management training program in which experiences, ideas and plans were discussed with other museum experts from Europe .
