The Marketing and Communications Internship Program is designed for college students exploring and building careers in marketing, communications, nonprofit administration and international business. Primary duties include collaborating with a team on strategic marketing, contributing material and research to the GlobalJax website, managing social media profiles and weekly communication. Depending on their backgrounds, skills, and interests, interns may also work alongside the GlobalJax staff and board of directors on special projects, programming for international visitors, fundraising as well as daily administrative functions.
Full membership in GlobalJax and access to GlobalJax’s programs, events, and network
Experience in government relations, public policy, and international business
Face-to-face networking with both local and international leaders
Introduction to the business, government, social advocacy, and cultural resources of north-Florida
Opportunities for internship extension or promotion to additional leadership roles
Involvement with the future of Jacksonville
