Andrea Hartley
Executive Director

Andrea serves as GlobalJax's chief executive and spokesperson. In that role she focuses on promoting the mission of enriching people's lives through global engagement, managing our team of staff and volunteers, developing new projects and partnerships, fundraising and providing strategic leadership in conjunction with the board of directors. With over 150 successful visitor programs for emerging leaders from 140 different countries under her belt, Andrea is passionate about helping Northeast Florida reach its potential as an international destination for tourism, commerce and living.

In addition to her work at GlobalJax, Andrea enjoys volunteering near and far, serving at local agencies including The Sanctuary on 8th Street and The I.M. Sulzbacher Center and travelling to New Orleans and rural Guatemala for work trips aimed at disaster recovery and community development. In 2013, Andrea was honored as one of Jacksonville's Finest in recognition of her fundraising efforts on behalf of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Andrea completed her undergraduate studies in Economic Development and Business Administration at The University of North Florida.

Rebecca Eppler

Rebecca is responsible for managing every aspect of GlobalJax’s incoming international visitor programs. In that capacity she works with the U.S. Department of State, Library of Congress and Embassies around the world to welcome 200+ emerging world leaders to Northeast Florida each year – ensuring they all see the best our region has to offer. Rebecca is also the go-to person for members and volunteers who want to get connected with our visitors.

Before joining GlobalJax, Rebecca spent some time living and studying in Germany. She has also spent time travelling in Israel, Amsterdam, Ireland, England, Spain, France, Switzerland and Austria. In her spare time you can find her perusing a world map and planning her next great adventure.

Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from The University of North Florida and one day hopes to earn a Master’s Degree in conflict resolution.

Sandra Brooks

Sandra is responsible for spreading the word that GlobalJax is one of the coolest organizations in Northeast Florida. In that capacity she develops opportunities for our community to interact with international visitors, manages our communication strategies and works directly with GlobalJax’s Executive Director on sponsorship and fundraising programs.
