David Brosche is a Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserves who has spent 17 years serving our country. He returned from deployment to Djibouti, Africa in August 2014 and now works at Deutsche Bank.
Alan Chapple is the Corporate Communications Manager for APR Energy. Alan spent his early career as a journalist in the Washington D.C. area and was fortunate to interview international dignitaries such as oceanographer Jacques Cousteau and Hans Blix, former head of the International Atomic Energy Agency. He eventually traded news writing for corporate communications and is currently with Jacksonville-based APR Energy, a global provider of fast-track power generation to help developing nations grow their economies and enhance the local quality of life.
Arthur Crofton has been the host of the Morning Show on 96.1 WEJZ since 1990. Originally from England, it was listening to “pirate” stations, music radio stations on ships offshore, that led Arthur to pursue a career “on the air”. In 1970 Arthur moved to America, working for a short while as a mail clerk at CBS where he delivered Walter Cronkite his daily mail. After pursuing graduate studies in Communications at the University of Alabama, Arthur began a radio career that brought him ultimately to 96.1.
Linda Dave serves as the Contract Compliance Manager at Family Support Services of North Florida, the lead agency for foster care, adoption and family preservation in Duval and Nassau counties. In addition to her work, Linda likes to travel and is an active member of GlobalJax’s Young Professional Network.
Jeffrey Edwards is the President and Founder of dba Alchemists International. Jeff has over twenty years of hands-on, highly successful experience designing, developing and leading high performance enterprises. In addition, Jeff served in the U.S. Navy as a commissioned officer Qualified in Warships, Submarines, NATO Command and Control, Military Sealift Command, Defense Acquisition, DOD Systems and Logistics Engineering.
Sondie Frus began her tenure with GlobalJax on September 11, 2001. Since that day she has been committed to the work of Citizen Diplomacy, building bridges through exchange that make the world a more connected and safer place for all. Before joining GlobalJax she was an Eve award finalist recognized for outstanding volunteerism in education. Since then she has also been recognized by the national programming agencies and the State Department for her quality work with international visitors.
Craig Gibbs was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1987. He has been a member of the D.W. Perkins Bar Association since 1987, serving as president in 1997–1998. Mr. Gibbs is also a member of the Virgil Hawkins Florida Chapter of the National Bar Association, where he served as Vice President in 1998–1999 and President in 2000–2001. In addition, Craig Gibbs serves on Jacksonville’s Downtown Investment Authority which is working to drive development in the urban core.
Carrie McNamara has been a Special Agent for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service since 2002. With NCIS she has been stationed in Dubai, UAE and Cairo, Egypt and has traveled throughout the Middle East including Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey and Israel. In previous appointments she has traveled to Central America and the Caribbean and has deployed multiple times to Haiti.
Dr. Charles E. Moreland is a native of Jacksonville, Florida and a 24 year veteran of the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department (JFRD) where he held every civil service rank from Firefighter, Engineer, Lieutenant, Captain, and District Chief. Charles has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Edward Waters College (2003), Masters in Public Administration (2006) and a Doctorate of Education (2009) both from Nova Southeastern University. He is also a proud 2008 alumni of Leadership Jacksonville. In addition, Charles is an active philanthropist, and has served as District Chairman for the Boys Scouts of America Scoutreach program.
Sichao Ni is an Associate Program Marketing Specialist in the Global Services division at Medtronic Surgical Technologies. Sichao is originally from China and serves on the Mayor’s Asian American Advisory Board, the Night of Asia Board of Directors and Chairs the Medtronic Asian Resource Group. Sichao has an MBA and a BBA from the University of North Florida and has studied abroad in Italy, China, Turkey, France, Egypt and Guatemala.
Renee Parenteau is owner of Renee Parenteau Photography. She is recognized as a creative genius, photographer and makeup artist having worked in the industries of entertainment, advertising and professional sports. Renee speaks fluent Spanish and French. Renee has a Bachelor degree in both Spanish and Comparative History of Ideas.
